How To Plan An Escape Room Party For Halloween

I'm Louis Torres and I really don't understand why people spend their weekends the way they do. You might have a wonderful home, but you may find that your friends are still hitting the town in order to kill boredom. There is really no reason to do this. If you have a nice home, you should be able to keep everyone entertained with all sorts of inexpensive activities. Not only will you save money, but you will also be able to spend more time actually having fun rather than wasting time driving from one location to another. I've learned a lot about home entertainment and I wish to share some of what I've learned with you.

How To Plan An Escape Room Party For Halloween

Do you love Halloween so much that you always host a Halloween party? Perhaps you have never hosted a Halloween party before and you are wanting to do something very unique when you host your event. From the invitations to planning escape games, here are some ideas on how to plan a very memorable party:

The Invitations - Set the mood by sending invitations through the mail. Of course, you could send an invitation online, but there's just something special about finding an invitation as you go through your mail:

  • Since you are planning an escape room party, send an invitation that will be a preview of what your guests will experience at your Halloween party.
  • For example, send the information about your party on different folded papers that you number. The first one is free, but it has a clue that has to be solved before going to envelope number 2. Of course, your guests can open each of the folded papers from the beginning, but it'll be more fun if they take the steps you've established.
  • Think about asking your guests to dress up as somebody who would make an escape. For example, a person could dress up like a prisoner or like a spy.

The Escape Games - Here's where you'll want to get super creative:

  • Think about dividing your guests into teams. It will probably be more fun for them to work together as they play the escape games.
  • Consider having clues in different rooms of your house. The guests can't leave one room until they have mastered the escape in the previous room.
  • Another idea is to have different escape board games. For example, you could even create your own board game that had an escape route. Following that game, your guests could then move onto a difficult jigsaw puzzle that they have to work together.

Of course, you can also go to an event center that has an escape room set up for you and your guests. The planners will be happy to work with a small group or with a larger group. They have the training to make your escape room event a fun one where everybody succeeds in the escape. Whether you have the escape room party at your home or at an event center, have the last event be a wonderful feast that contains things from ghost shaped sandwiches to scary looking cookies.
